While working for Bloomingdale's internal Store Design Department, Dante Sandoli oversaw the capital improvement of Bloomingdale's South Coast Plaza location. A complete overhaul was made to the fine jewelry, women's shoes, fragrances, and men's accessory departments. The fine jewelry department was customized to include private viewing rooms for clients. The private rooms are identified by mosaic tiles, back-painted glass panels, and textured wall coverings. Fluted millwork wall panels flank either side of the fine jewelry department and include concealed storage below.
