DMS Design and Architecture partnered with the client, an emerging New York City artist and designer, to convert an untouched 1960's 1-Bedroom co-op in Lincoln Square into a 2-Bedroom unit, using the newly established second bedroom as an artist studio. The second bedroom was created from an underutilized formal dining room. The co-op was completely transformed, incorporating all new finishes, detailed moldings, and fixtures. A series of arches mimic the arches of the custom fabricated glass and black iron doors.
