The Arts, Research, and Cultural House (ARCH) at the University of Pennsylvania houses the La Casa Latina, Makuu, and Pan-Asian American Community House (PAACH) multicultural centers. The ARCH also houses Penn CURF, the Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships. The Gothic Revival structure, located at the intersection of 36th and Locust Walk, formally housed the Christian Association, built in 1927. The extensive renovation of the 29,000 sq. ft. structure was a collaboration between SaylorGregg Architects and John Milner Associates for architectural preservation. Program features include a lounge, indoor café, classrooms, meeting rooms, and a second-floor auditorium with flexible seating arrangements. Thoughtfully tailored additions were discreetly created for code required restrooms and additional egress stairs. While at SaylorGregg, Dante Sandoli oversaw the project as BIM Manager and led the production team under the supervision of Principal Peter Saylor, FAIA.
