PROJECT DESCRIPTION

THIRD FLOOR ADDITION AND PILOT HOUSE WITH ROOF DECK

A growing family wanted to remain in there quaint Graduate Hospital row home but needed additional space. The addition of a third floor, complete with mansard roof and dormers, allowed the family to gain additional space but still maintain the character and city approval of the neighborhood. At the rear of the home there is a pilot house hidden from street view which provides roof deck access. The third floor contains a generous bedroom with en suite bath. The second floor retains 2 bedrooms and a central bathroom while the basement has been finished for additional recreational space. The main living floor received upgraded millwork, fixtures, and finishes but maintains the original function of the open living room, dining area, and kitchen.
