FRIENDS UPPER SCHOOL RENOVATION OF LUNCHROOM, CLASSROOMS, AND GYMNASIUM

Following a complete renovation by Marner Architecture, Mary McDowell friends school requested Marner Architecture to come back and remodel the Upper School's lunchroom, several classrooms, and the gymnasium. The renovation provided retractable acoustic wall systems mounted to either the ceiling or wall in both the lunchroom and classroom spaces, allowing a greater number of flexible classroom spaces that fit the school's academic needs and requirements. In the gymnasium, storage for seating was developed under the auditorium's existing stage, allowing for various functions when the space was not used for athletics.
